Chained Beasts is out. The full release was 15 October 2026 at 10:00 AM PDT, which is 17:00 UTC. Older pages that still say “coming soon” are stale.

Steam’s release_date object rechecked on 18 October 2026 says coming_soon false and date “Oct 15, 2026”. PlayStation returns 2026-10-15T17:00:00Z, matching the studio’s 17:00 UTC announcement. YouTube metadata dates the official launch trailer to 2026-10-15T10:00:20-07:00. These are source checks, not gameplay testing.

What ships next

The 12 October 2026 roadmap names patch 1.1 in December 2026 (new arena, boss, weapons, enemies) and PvP in the first quarter of 2027. Those are plans, not shipped builds. I will not mark them released until a patch note exists.

The studio also said the project started as a 48-hour jam called Enterchained, about twelve years before launch, sparked by a chained fight in the film Gladiator. That is Tim Kaldor’s line in the launch announcement, not a plot summary of the game.
