Privacy policy
Checked 2026-10-18
As of 18 October 2026 this site runs Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-8LH7E83H6N) in Consent Mode, Microsoft Clarity (project yza4o4on53) for session recording and heatmaps, and Adsterra for advertising (publisher id 3403020, website 6130811). All three are optional: until you press Accept, no analytics cookie is written, no clarity.ms script is requested, and no ad script is requested. Fonts and images are hosted locally. YouTube receives a request only when you choose to play an embedded trailer.
The gtag.js library is loaded on every page and its local command queue sets Consent Mode v2 with ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage denied, plus ads_data_redaction, before gtag('config') runs. Accept sends an update that grants analytics_storage and is also the signal the page uses to build the Adsterra and Clarity scripts; Reject, Global Privacy Control, or no answer leaves all three unrequested. Google's own advertising signals stay denied on purpose because this site runs no Google Ads or AdSense inventory.
What runs, and why
The local preference is used only to remember this choice. Without a saved choice, the banner is shown and nothing optional is requested. Accept grants analytics storage, creates the Clarity script, and creates the Adsterra ad scripts; Reject keeps analytics storage denied, never creates either script, and removes anything those scripts had already added to the page. Clicking a video is a separate request to load YouTube; Accept by itself does not load a player, and Reject by itself does not disable a later explicit Play request.
If navigator.globalPrivacyControl is true, this site treats the optional preference as denied: analytics storage stays denied, Clarity and Adsterra are never created, and no advertising or profiling runs, regardless of Do Not Track. Cookie settings lets you reopen the choices; selecting Reject also removes any active YouTube iframe and restores its local poster, and it tears down the ad scripts and the fixed Social Bar strip on that page. Removing a player or an ad script stops its future activity here but cannot undo a request already sent.
The Adsterra Social Bar is a fixed strip at the bottom of the viewport. This site constrains it to the viewport width and reserves matching space under the page so it cannot cover the footer; if you close it, the choice is stored in localStorage key cb_ads_closed and the strip is not requested again until you clear that key or choose Cookie settings and Accept again.
| Name | When | Purpose | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|
| This site | Every page | Show the guide and remember your choice | localStorage key cb_consent_v1 (your Accept or Reject choice, kept 180 days) and key cb_ads_closed (set to 1 only if you close the Adsterra Social Bar, kept until you clear it) |
| Google Analytics 4 | Every page, limited by your choice | Count page views and referral sources through gtag.js (measurement ID G-8LH7E83H6N). Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) for the cookies; legitimate interest in aggregate traffic measurement for the cookieless pings. | Before Accept: analytics storage is denied, so GA4 sends cookieless pings with no cookie or stored identifier. After Accept: first-party cookies _ga and _ga_G-8LH7E83H6N are written; Google currently sets them to expire after 400 days. Google LLC processes these requests; advertising signals stay denied. |
| Microsoft Clarity | Only after you press Accept | Session recording and heatmaps so the guide is easier to use (project id yza4o4on53). Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). | The clarity.ms script tag is not in the page HTML; it is created after Accept, so no request reaches clarity.ms before then. Clarity sets first-party cookies _clck (up to 1 year) and _clsk (1 day) and may store its session id in the browser; Microsoft Corporation processes the recorded pages, clicks, and scrolling. Pressing Reject or reopening Cookie settings and choosing Reject calls clarity('consent', false). |
| Adsterra | Only after you press Accept, and only on pages that carry an ad slot | Serve the site’s ads: one Native Banner (ad unit 31787762) and one Social Bar (ad unit 31787763) on Adsterra website 6130811, category Social, with "Show adult ads" switched OFF. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). | Neither ad script is in the page HTML; both are created after Accept, so no request reaches the Adsterra script host (bicea.org) before then. Adsterra may then set its own cookies and browser storage for frequency capping, click measurement, and ad selection; those names and lifetimes are set by Adsterra under its own cookie policy, not by this site. We do not pass your email address or any typed input to Adsterra. |
| Google / YouTube | Only after you press Play on a trailer | Play the official trailer via www.youtube-nocookie.com | Observed player requests use www.youtube-nocookie.com, fonts.gstatic.com, www.gstatic.com, www.google.com, i.ytimg.com, yt3.ggpht.com, jnn-pa.googleapis.com, and regional googlevideo.com media hosts. Google operates these services. The player receives IP/browser data and may use storage; privacy-enhanced mode does not mean no data processing. |
| Cloudflare | When the production site is hosted; and when you email us | Hosting, security, and Email Routing. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) in serving the site and receiving mail. | May process request metadata and email-routing data. No Cloudflare browser analytics script is installed. |
| Featherweight, Steam, stores | Only if you follow an outbound link | Leave this site | Their policies apply on their sites, not here. |
Rights, ads, and changes
- You can ask for access, correction, or deletion of any mail you sent us, and you can withdraw the optional consent at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Write to [email protected].
- Delete the on-device choices yourself by clearing localStorage keys cb_consent_v1 and cb_ads_closed, or use Cookie settings in the footer. Reject stops Clarity and Adsterra from loading on later page views.
- This site does not sell personal information and does not run interest-based advertising of its own. The ads that Adsterra serves are selected by Adsterra; you can opt out of interest-based advertising from Adsterra and other participating vendors through the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ (US), the European Digital Advertising Alliance at https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/ (EU/UK), and the Adsterra cookie policy at https://adsterra.com/cookies/. Blocking third-party cookies or choosing Reject here also removes Adsterra on this site.
- The sellers this site authorises are listed in /ads.txt. Adsterra is the only seller line: there is no Google AdSense tag, no AdSense ad unit, and no second advertising network here.
- Email goes through Cloudflare Email Routing to our editorial mailbox provider, Google Gmail. Those providers process the message needed to deliver it; do not send passwords, payment details, or game save files containing personal data.
- Mail we receive is kept long enough to handle the request, then deleted. The consent key expires after 180 days or when you clear it; the ad-strip key lasts until you clear it.
- This page’s date is the policy date. A material change updates that date and the footer check date together.

Frequently asked questions
Do you use cookies?
Not before you choose. With analytics storage denied, Google Analytics sends cookieless pings, and no clarity.ms or Adsterra script is requested. After Accept, GA4 writes _ga and _ga_G-8LH7E83H6N, Clarity sets _clck and _clsk, and Adsterra may set its own ad cookies; Reject leaves all of them unrequested. The consent choice itself is localStorage.
Who do I email?
ContactWhere are ad partners listed?
In /ads.txt, with one seller line: adsterra.com, 3403020, DIRECT. The publisher id is the real value from the Adsterra dashboard, not a guess, and no other seller is declared because nothing else serves ads on this domain.
DetailsCan I turn the ads off?
Yes. Reject in the banner leaves every ad script unrequested, and Cookie settings in the footer lets you switch back to Reject at any time, which also removes the ad scripts and Social Bar from the page you are on. You can close the Social Bar strip itself; that choice is remembered in localStorage key cb_ads_closed.
